Artistic intervention by Volodymyr Kuznetsov

The ‘Ukraine Project’ of Kunsthalle Exnergasse reflects upon the situation of contemporary art in the Ukraine. Volodymyr Kuznetsov, the current artist-in-residence at the KEX Studio of the Kunsthalle Exnergasse, installs an artistic intervention for the project together with Straight Line initiative. Kuznetsov will also participate in MAZE, open ateliers and workshops, and in the artist talk „Processing realities“ on 7 May 2016.

Further on, the ‘Ukraine Project’ will introduce different artistic communities in the Ukraine with the aim to reflect on the current situation in their home country by means of politically engaged art and debate. Participants of the show and presentations at Kunsthalle Exnergasse include HUDRADA curatorial union, TEH member Izolyatsia, and Visual Culture Research Center, amongst others. The ‘Ukraine Project’ is a joint project of The School of Kiev – Kiev Biennial 2015 and Kunsthalle Exnergasse.
