How to make a picture for change

Staircase 4, School

This workshop is a hands-on invitation to devise an image. The conference deals with the political; the practice-oriented workshop uses the means of art for an idea, to create a critiqued scenario, a claim, a visual manifesto. Most people are familiar with the stencil by Bansky displayed on the walls in occupied Palestinian territories: A girl in a pink dress body-checks a soldier in full gear – that says it all. Is it possible to make a statement with images? To create new images from old scenarios and thereby reveal new perspectives? To contribute to change?

No requirements, materials will be provided.
